Hi all!
Bought a Victorian semi-detached a month ago and now am embarking on a journey to deal with The Damp. For most of it the source has been easy to find - vent bricks buried under soil level, blocked gutters causing rain to cascade down the walls, etc - but this particular patch has me puzzled. The back wall is an external wall but to a covered alleyway (so no rainfall or vent brick), the left wall is the side of a fireplace, and the right wall is internal and shared with the living room. I cannot work out what the problem might be - any suggestions?!
Thanks!
