Hi all,
New here, I’m also yet to be Georgian house owner. An old build 1834 three floor detached house.
The top floor rooms all have a large opened pipe in the corner of the rooms … the pipe emerges from within the wall about skirting height and climbs upwards to about six feet … the pipes are open at the top and I can get my hand in … so about 10cm diameter. There is nothing connected to the pipes.
Does anyone have any idea what they are or were for ?
