Any suggestions for mortgage providers that would consider a property with single skin walls? I know it could be down to the individual surveyor as suggested in previous posts, but if anyone knows of a provider to which a property in good condition is usually acceptable, this would be a huge help! Also, many post have mentioned extensions of single skin brick being a problem with mortgage companies, but this tiny 2 storey detached cottage in a sheltered location, appears to be entirely of this construction..... is this unusual for an 1800's property? I know alot of you out there must have a similar property which is mortgaged, so any help would be much appreciated.
