I was made redundant this week from a job that involved flying around and visiting people (for obvious reasons). So I'm back on the house. The majority of structural work was completed in 2015 but interior and outbuildings haven't been touched and there will be plenty to keep me occupied.
I was very depressed last couple of years and identified that work and social interaction were helpful, and while it was difficult to start to do those things at first they ended up fixing the problem. I'm getting a little nervous now because my sources of work and social interaction have gone. It got pretty bad so I'm trying to make plans to keep me busy and not suicidal again while at the same time keeping others safe. And of course get the house more 'finished'.
I moaned on the internet the other day and a friend who is an interior decorator is in the same boat. For as long as we are allowed I'll ask her to come in for a day or two a week and help with the project. Some company and some progress on the house hopefully.
If anyone is in the same boat (and should we be allowed) does anyone fancy a work share? Couple days your house, couple days mine and then Fridays off? My risk should be low as aside from the decorator I'm unlikely to see a living being for the rest of the year. Any other ideas? AlsoI'm looking fora good leadworker.
Also I should imagine others on here will also need some help. Worth you asking.
