Hello everyone, greetings from Berlin.
We're trying to lay a bathroom floor on the ground floor our family home (no damp proof course). We've got some Norfolk pammet-style teracotta tiles and a breathable sealant for them. However, for sticking them to the supposedly breathable "Fermacel" bathroom fibreboards, our tile-layer fella (who recommended the fibreboards) is saying normal tile adhesive will be fine - with the argument that the castellated edge of the tiling tool will scape 50% of the surface free of adhesive, and therefore the floor will remain breathable. I'm not convinced - what do you all think?
Many thanks,
Ben
