Seeking Specialists list - where to find?

Post by charliescarr » Wed 9th Sep, 2020 10:00 am

Hi folks, I have struggled to find good contractors to work on my Victorian house, and been let down a few times with substandard work, or people who looked promising but then vanish. I've found posts on this forum talking about a "Seeking Specialists" list, but haven't found it on this site after a good look. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Hopefully this isn't a noddy question for my first post!

I don't think there is a list as such - but - post up where you are and what you need doing and you may get some suggestions. The trick is often once you've found one good tradesman in your area, they tend to know the other trades, especially if they work on old buildings a lot.
