I suppose it depends on the size of the balls it can hold.

It wasn't originally a ballroom. It's what happens when you have a 3 story 1600ish building and someone in 1920 decides the downstairs ceiling has become a bit low. A 2 story building with rather high ceilings on the ground floor. My contribution was to remove a 1970s false ceiling. And to redesignate the room as a ballroom.
