It wasn't originally a ballroom. It's what happens when you have a 3 story 1600ish building and someone in 1920 decides the downstairs ceiling has become a bit low. A 2 story building with rather high ceilings on the ground floor. My contribution was to remove a 1970s false ceiling. And to redesignate the room as a ballroom. :D

When madness abates can we have a PPUK masked ball, pleeeeeeze. Long time ago a few people from here had a get together, but I wasn’t around, so I missed out

Just needs a high viz jacket that says “Acme Decontamination Solutions” with the radioactive materials warning sign and you’ll be guaranteed your own personal social distancing allowance at all times.
