I wonder if anyone has experience of the relative merits between a common sash window and a superior sash window.
After making enquiries we found a company that make both common and superior classes of work. I do not doubt the integrity of this company, but wonder if I am best served by a well constructed sash window or a lower class of work that is made weatherproof by draught excluders and so on?
I am aware of the different methods involved in the construction of common and superior work and am in no doubt that the superior is of much greater value to the building but as I do not expect to live in the property for any longer than 15 years is it worth the extra cost?
I look forward to anyone with experience of before and after superior sash windows.
