Certainly has the presence and style. Just two things that put me off. Price and location. Oh, and a lack of grounds..
For something at a lower budget, and quite a bit smaller, I offer this: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-fo ... 13167.html

There will very soon be a fantastic period property in Somerset going up on there...

Bit plain though. Could do with blinging up a bit.paulc wrote: ↑Sat 5th Sep, 2020 1:21 amFor something at a lower budget, and quite a bit smaller, I offer this: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-fo ... 13167.html

If I could find £1.4m down the back of the sofa I think I could cope with that place.plasticpigeon wrote: ↑Sat 5th Sep, 2020 12:15 amhttps://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-fo ... 44056.html

This made me laugh. I was thinking along the same lines.Feltwell wrote: ↑Sat 5th Sep, 2020 2:52 pmBit plain though. I guess it’s a nice enough place but I’m not keen on the lack of subtlety. I’d always prefer a quiet authenticity rather than a peacock on a table!

My c1470 former Manor House has just gone on the market with 4 acres (sts), 1/3 mile private fishing, set back from the road, 3 garages, 3 stables, crewyard, 4 bay open barn, car port and parking for several vehicles. Backs onto open fields with no footpaths on or near our property.

Set aside another £1.4m for its upkeep.Feltwell wrote: ↑Sat 5th Sep, 2020 2:53 pmIf I could find £1.4m down the back of the sofa I think I could cope with that place.plasticpigeon wrote: ↑Sat 5th Sep, 2020 12:15 amhttps://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-fo ... 44056.html

Only my opinion but I think the windows spoil it and put the tv somewhere else.DWB wrote: ↑Sun 13th Sep, 2020 2:18 pmMy c1470 former Manor House has just gone on the market with 4 acres (sts), 1/3 mile private fishing, set back from the road, 3 garages, 3 stables, crewyard, 4 bay open barn, car port and parking for several vehicles. Thank you but we don't have time to put new windows in. We have to be in France by 1st December.
And I'm not sure where else to put the tv?
