Lime wash is one of the earliest and most breathable forms of decorative paint finish. It has been used to decorate and protect lime renders, plasters and other surfaces for hundreds of years. Our special lime wash, due to a unique manufacturing process, has a consistency similar to emulsion, making it easy to use. A 10 litre tub will cover approximately 12-16 square metres (assuming 3 coats). One of the finest lime washes you can get. Ultra fine particles of calcium hydroxide give a colloidal suspension. This pure lime wash gives maximum coverage, a brilliant ruch finish and can hold mineral pigments extremely well. All colours are sold in 1 litre bottles, and 5 and 10 litre tubs. For a crisp, classic finish to external masonry, earthborn silicate masonry paint offers a high performance alternative to limewash. Being water based and voc free, it allows walls to breath. Yet it's special formulation with sodium silicate makes it very hardwearing. It is water repellent and can withstand severe extremes of weather. For optimum performance, first apply a base coat of earthborn silicate primer. (Note: Earthborn silicate paint should not be applied over conventional plastic masonry paints. Some clay surfaces may require special treatment). Coverage: 5 7 sq mtrs per ltr. Drying time: 4hours (approx)

Made from natural plant resins, minerals and milke casein for walls and ceilings. Also an ideal base coat for traditional wall glazing techniques. Can be coloured with full deep colour one coat natural emulsion.

A traditional good quality distemper bound by casein. This indoor paint provides greater obliteration than basic limewash, yet retains high vapour permeability. This makes it suitable for lime and clay plasters. This paint can be coloured using our pigments.

Can be used for colouring and tinting distemper, paints, glazes, varnishes, clays and plasters. They are finely ground organic pigments.

EarthBorn Emulsion is water-based, solvent free, low odour and pleasant to use. It is ideal for internal walls and ceilings. It can be coloured with EarthBorn Pure Colour or EarthBorn Pigments to provide a limitless array of colours.

EarthBorn clay paint combines all of the qualities of natural clays and provides rich, warm, intense shades. It is a natural, solvent free indoor paint that covers exceptionally well yet allow surfaces to breathe and absorbs variations in humidity, making for a comfortable and healthy environment. A versatile, water based transparent glaze for interior use. It can be used to provide a washable, protective surface to emulsion or Claypaint (1 part glaze: 4 parts water). Alternatively, it can be coloured with earth & mineral pigments to make a colourwash or matt woodstain (1 part glaze: 4 parts water plus pigment).
