1900s wall stencilling

Hello - I am a new member looking for advice. Our home is a stone barn built 1771 in North Wales borders, it was converted around 1911-1912 I think into a house. Same owners for 50 years and we have over the last 6 years been slowly repairing and restoring including removing 1970s chipboard, repointing with lime, replacing timbers etc. my current project is repairing and decorating the front room currently used as a store room and dining room. wall paper stripped and I have cleaned off the old patchy lime wash and have found some lovely stencilling on the original lime plaster. Sadly only one small example left. I am going to preserve what I can and limewash the rest of the room. i''d like to make a replica of the stencil pattern - any recommendations for companies that can do this?

There are wallpaper companies that will do this if you send them a high resolution photo - ££ though

Thank you - i'm thinking instead now of making a copy myself with tracing paper to create a template which I can then cut and replicate, fingers crossed.

Not sure what access to skills etc you have, you could take a decent photo and import it into something like Adobe Illustrator and then effectively “trace” it.

You would then have the pattern in an electronic format that you could print onto card/paper, send to an online laser cutting company to create stencils / templates, play around with what different colours might look like etc

It is a lovely pattern though, definitely would be great to reflect it in the future usage of the building- well done for finding and preserving it
