Age of fireplace surround

Hello,

I recently acquired a nice fireplace surround that seems to exhibit some light Art Deco influence (see attached picture). I couldn’t get much information about it. I'm curious about its style and possible age, and I thought someone might be able to provide insights. From the 30s/40s perhaps?

I found a fireplace for sale on internet with similar features, but no information about the period…

Looks 'Georgian' to me - during one of their plain geometric phases. There were a lot of Georges covering a long period of time - including some 'Art Deco' ones, so a good bet!

1930s to 1980s. My Grandad was called George so it all fits.

Haha mystery solved! Must be early Georgian then (before 1950) according to the woodwork behind the surround (looks quite old).
