So we have a concrete slab floor on our lower ground floor. After reading a bit on the forum, a real wooden floor doesn’t seem to be realistic, and engineered wood isn’t really the vibe we want (unless we spend mega money) as the rest of the house is natural looking wood.
We considered real linoleum but are now looking at cork. Seems soft, warm, durable, cool looking and suits the space as it is open plan - both kitchen and living room.
Has anyone laid a cork flooring? Any tips/thoughts on underlay or DPM? I’ve included a few pics from my Pinterest board for reference
