Just in the middle of restoring our 18C barn. The doors had completely had it so we replaced them with new ledge and brace doors.
I used the black bedec barn paint I’ve been using for the feather edge board. It goes in really well but if you so much as touch it with any pressure it leaves a white chalky mark?? Even though the paint is fully dry. No issues with it on the feather edge boards? Maybe it’s not great on smooth timber?
I was thinking maybe something like Zinsser all coat for the door specifically?
