Kearn Member Messages 1,447 Location Wiltshire Yesterday at 11:46 PM #2 There is no such thing. Please don’t. It’s irreversible damage. Bricks will absorb and release moisture again naturally. Seal them, moisture will still find a way in, but struggle to get out again. Then you have a damp, cold, heat conducting wall.

M Maria D Member Messages 105 Location Ireland Yesterday at 11:58 PM #3 I was thinking the terms “breathable” and “sealant” didn’t seem to go well together. I’ve gone to the expense and effort of re-plastering every room with lime so I’ll stay away from messing with the bricks! Thanks for the advice.
