Hi all,
Background
I have purchased an 1880 cottage that had UPVC window fitted in the 70s or 80s, and they didn't fit a structural lintel. The consequence of this is the wall has dropped a bit above the window, cracked, and also bulged/bowed out. With the joists sat in pockets in the wall, that weight has cause its to bow slowly over years. probbaly 2 or more inches over a 1x2m area above the ground floor window

I'm going to install a new RSJ with plate to catch the 9 inch wall soon, and replace the windows and make it structurally sound again.
Potential fixes
Any expertise, experience or advice is much appreciated !

Potential fixes
- Install helical ties and repoint whole wall, leave the bulge.
- Rake out external joints, add a pattress plate/tie rod and attempt to pull the bulge back in over a few months. Then repoint?
- Rebuild - Im trying to avoid this option as its x4 across the property
