Theres a lot of lead flashing on that roof and wall. Can you be more specific please about where you are seeing water appear indoors?

There's a good reason for dressing the flashing over the profiles of single lap tiles like pantiles or double romans, because you can't use soakers with them. However in recent years secret gutter systems have been developed for them as an extra protection.Running the flashing over the tiles is essential for pantiles, whilst plain tiles (or slates) would conventionally have individual soakers under the tiles, and perhaps there's a good reason for that.
The flashing is not the way it's normally done on double lap tiles. It shouldn't be an issue as long as you have soakers against the wall.Gone slightly over my head. Are you saying that lead flashing isn't right?
As for the flaky stuff on the wall, it's next doors and they have taken alot of cement stuff of other sections of the wall, so would guess it's some sort of sand and cement stuff.
Generally it's reasonable to be sceptical of the ability of 'stick on' fixes to correct problems with poor detailing. In this case it looks like a flat roof extension has led to what may have been an ill-conceived change to a plain tiled eave with every chance of it not working as hoped without a bit of luck. What's to stop water running off the end of that funny little ledge into the building? The new flashing seems unlikely to be able to do that. The bottom of the valley (red circle) seems to be coming under the flat roof. Then the oval red circle we are getting water that seems to be dripping through the mortar on the wall.
