Help with windows

Good morning everybody,

I have two bay windows on my property. I would love for them to look like the one in the picture (the all-around panels that frame them nicely) but I do not know what is the name of it and what kind of professional would build them (can a regular joiner do it or do I need specialized services?).

Hi Lilly and Welcome,
Most such inner frames for doors and windows would be constructed on-site by a joiner using standard off the shelf wooden mouldings to construct a composite consisting of several such mouldings fastened to a wooden backing panel. If you google 'door or window mouldings' you'll find many examples. Any good joiner should be able to make and install them for you but - there had to be a 'but' sadly - it needs a good designer to make the best choices of which mouldings will produce an elegant and pleasing design.
I would suggest that you get a closer look at the one in your photo and make a not of the profiles and dimensions or have a chat with a friendly and local interior designer.
