House footing foundation

Hi,
We live 4 years in 1935 build bungalow in Scotland.
This year decided to do perforated drainage around house at around 45 cm deep but I got a bit in questions...
Started removing concrete on one side of the house as there only 5 cm to dpc, so I can drop level down. But I notice there is only 20 cm to footing foundation from dpc and foundation is only 25cm deep concrete then red clay below that.
I don't know what to do now?

Hi Michael,

Looks like you posted this query in the wrong section and hence the lack of any feedback until now. Maybe one of Adminstrators would be kind enough to transfer this Thread to the Discussions page?( @a twig ) where it may get more attention from the wider membership. In the meantime and in the hope you haven't got tired of waiting for a suggestion...... I would suggest that you need to re-establish the footing by flooding those voids with concrete ASAP. As the house has a DPC I would not be over concerned by the use of a gypsum cement for the job.

Hopefully, some of the other members will add their two-penneth to give some contrasting views.
