How to clean 300 year old oak beams in a converted barn?

We recently bought a barn conversion with beautiful oak beams that are around 300 years old. The beams have been treated for woodworm and natural oak colour so no stains or colour have been applied. My question is how do I clean the dust off these beams as they are rather rough and difficult to wipe clean.

^^^ exactly that, except I have a Festool instead. Twigs microfibre brush thingy looks very handy but will snag and rip eventually.

Never heard of 'natural oak colour' I guess you mean stained. Vacuum with soft brush.
