As some of you know, we are researching the best way to lay a cork floor in our basement kitchen.
One area of the concrete floor is already covered with a latex screed - it previously had vinyl on top of it.
We are thinking to cover the rest of the floor in latex screed and put a damp proof membrane on top before fitting the tongue and groove cork - does this ring any immediate red flags?
