A friend of mine lives in an early Victorian cottage that he is currently extending and renovating. Now he's not as dedicated to the period decor as me but at the same time everything's not going to be grey and gloss white.
His downstairs ceiling height is something in the order of 7ft and he, like me, has a particular aversion to downlighters. He is however a bit stumped as to how best light his kitchen. It will have wall units with under counter lighting but for general light he's not sure how to go.
I'm sure others have been faced with this situation, what have you got?
A period inspired fitting would be prefered. Wall lights is the obvious choice but not an option obviously where all the wall units are. Anybody found any nice low profile fittings?
Thanks, Craig
