Hello and a merry Christmas all!
Im currently removing a patio which had been fitted right upto the gable end of my 1850s solid brick cottage at a level about 2 inches higher than the inside floor level(ofcourse causing damp issues).
I've made good progress this week and have all of the problematic stones up.
This has left(to my eye atleast), a lime coated footing below perhaps a brick course covered in concrete?
The lime coated footing still has concrete/mortar against it in some places and im currently chipping away at that.
Id love your thoughts on the level above it, whether this is the same stone just covered in concrete, or a brick course?
Pictures here, would welcome all and any thoughts on what im doing/looking at?
