Hi All,
I am in the process of quotations for a loft conversion for a 4 bed semi detached house in Hull, East Yorkshire.
As I have solar panels on the south facing (back garden side) of my property I am looking at installing x2 Velux windows in the front of the roof (street facing).
A few of the builders have suggested that this may need planning permission is this correct ?
Also I am removing my chimney stack to be capped just under the new raised floor in the loft - does this need planning permission?
Appreciate any pointers in advance.
The cost of this is already way over budget so would want to avoid additional costs if can help it.
Cheers,
Mike
