Hello, after a lot of lurking I've finally got the joy (haha) of having something to post!
We've been in a Victorian terrace for about a year and a couple of weeks ago I noticed this growth in the cellar.
After some research I'm hoping it is mine rot and I basically just need to clean it up and monitor? Or could it be something worse?
I'm also very confused about where it has come from and why it is growing along the bricks on the ground. There is no timber there. Could it have come from next door (neighbour's cellar is other side of the wall) and should I be asking them to check and potentially treat?
If I'm seeing it here is there a risk that it's higher up too?
Any advice hugely appreciated!
