Yeah, I found a bread oven that had been bricked up and covered over; an area that had been bricked up and filled with rubbish, which I turned into a cupboard; and a couple of walls built to cover up old walls behind...

Under the groundfloor of a previous house I found a dump of old furniture, mostly rotted into the ground. One small rather nice rosewood gothic mirror was salvageable.
Also there were dozens of garden gnomes, all with their heads missing.

I think I would have given much consideration to a chat with the police and the neighbours to see if there had previously been a speight of gnome-napping's in the area.
