Hi all,
Has anyone had any experience using the above product? If so, what do you think?
I know the traditionalist in me stays that i should go with a true Lime based external render. However I quite like the sounds of some form of insulative properties being put into the render and the fact that it can cure (subject to environmental factors) in around 8 hours.
I have been checking the vapour permeability of the product compared to NHL based renders and it seems pretty good on paper. Below is a quick comparison between each type of Lime Render for comparison:
ProofTherm 6.27 (reported)
Lime putty render 4 – 6
NHL 2 lime render 5 - 8
NHL 3.5 lime render 8-12
NHL 5 lime render 12 - 20
I have a solid brick building so keen on doing the correct approach but not afraid to using different products that potentially can create the same results.
Anyway - a bit of an open discussion really. Any thoughts?
Cheers!
