Replacing rotten wood ?
Do I use filler or expanding foam splice wood in what about structural integrity ?

I need something fast as the lead is scheduled for replacement in a couple of weeks

I really don't think filler or expanding foam are going to do anything like a decent job on this. For a proper repair you need to scarf in new wood to replace the rotten stuff.
If that's going to take longer than you have between now and the scheduled leadwork, then surely you could put off the leadwork?
Anything else is going to be a short-term fudge and sacrifice the long-term integrity of the structure.
I'm sorry if that all sounds a bit purist and pompous, but I do hope you will agree with me.

It's knackered. No-one could accuse you of removing historic fabric unnecessarily if you just replace that bit.

I have spent the afternoon removing more rotten wood and it is apparent I need to replace whole sections of the ring beam

The roof based ring beam was completely shot I took it apart with my bare hands in bits and pieces straight in the skip from the roof there was not an cm3 of sound wood all the posts where gone so am in process of deciding how to replace posts onto new steel ring beam

have thought of splicing reclaimed sections of post over new steel posts so it looks no different
