Good evening
I’m hoping you can provide some advice about the following brickwork issue.
Unfortunately another day, another few unnecessary holes drilled through the brickwork, in order to mount an alarm bell box (see pictures).
You can see the holes drilled from the outside in, and also what it looks like from the inside. I’ve just noticed it’s right near a floor joist (seems bricks sit right up against it on one side, and I assume there’s a layer of bricks in front of the joists too), so I’m wondering when it comes to replacing these bricks, will there be structural issues? Or is the brick replacement fairly straightforward?
In case it’s relevant, there’s also a window about half a metre above the floor.
Thanks in advance.
