Hello all!
Well we thought we had original flags underneath self levelling compound but no - just turns out we have concrete !!
So we are digging a channel around the perimeter of room and hacking the gypsum and bitumen of the walls to let the damp room dry out and let it breathe ... walls will then be lime plastered.
So I now need to find some flagstones to lay on top ... Needs to be able to breathe as that's the whole purpose of this channel...
Has anybody lay or even better got any pictures of limestone / natural Stone flagstones they have chosen?
I like the look of Whitehall flagstones 'old farmhouse green' ... But a teeny 10cm x 10cm square sample is hard to see the bigger picture ... also scared to spend so much of our small budget worried it won't look like the glossy website pictures!!

Anybody got any suppliers they recommend/realstic looking flags?
Thanks for any advice !! We are peak district - so would have been Yorkshire style flags originally I think?
