waxing bathroom floor??

i have wooden floors in my bathroom and would like to wax them as the other wooden floors in the house are waxed. is this possible or will the wax not withstand the constand moisture. if not has anyone got any suggestions for alternatives?

I have used OSMO OS hard waxoil for several years and have found it very good indeed. Mike.
