Hello All.
We have a 1920’s property with a Yorkist Range. We’ve lived here for six years but haven’t had our open fires working as our rescue dog is terrified of fire.
We’ve always had our chimneys maintained and swept even though not in use.
In the future, we’d like to use the Yorkist Range to have an open fire, we’re not really sure if we’d ever use the oven.
It’s becoming impossible to find anyone to come and asses the range and undertake any renovation work.
I’m not even sure if there’s a back boiler installed.
Does anyone have any recommendations of restorers or of how to proceed please?
I’d be incredibly grateful as I love the original features in our home and want to preserve them as best we can.
Thank you.
