We moved into our in-house nearly 3 years ago. I noticed many of the trickle vents had been filled in (presumably to prevent heat loss!) but where they hadn’t, it was literally just 2x8mm drill holes!
What On earth is the point in these...
That gives approx 128 mm2 of ventilation per window. When modern windows usually have 2500 mm2.
As we’ve done quite a bit of work adding extra ceiling insulation, replastering, insulating floors I’m keen to ensure the house is well ventilated as the humidity can be a bit high.
So this weekend I enrolled my brother and his power tools to do them properly...
