I've been waiting to land the correct internal doors for my house for a while.
Finally the right ones came into a reclaim place I've been in touch with. Had them delivered last week and they are still damp from the dipping process.
They will need cutting to size, probably then some planing down etc and hanging.
How long from point of stripping would be needed.
I hear that hanging in a centrally heated house too early can cause doors to bow. True? Also I imagine that if you are a carpenter taking tools to a door to make it fit an aperture, that you don't want compromised timber.
How long should be given for them to dry off?
