A Anonymous Guest Oct 10, 2005 #2 You should wash off all the loose material with a good sponge and warm water. Keep changing the water to keep it fresh. Then, instead of painting with emulsion, re apply distemper, it really is as easy to use as emulsion and it looks lovely.
