Hi. I have a load of vitrolite tiles - jade green for sale. I took them off the kitchen walls whilst decorating and they dont go with my new kitchen. I am open to offers
Hi Sarah. Do you still have some jade green vitrolite tiles? I am looking for green and black vitrolite tiles to replace broken ones and increase tiled area in a bathroom.
Angela
We have some jade green and black vitrolite tiles but most are stuck to the walls at the moment. We dont want to keep them so if we can get them off in one piece we will probably be trying to sell them...
We also have a few loose tiles in a box in the cellar but I havent investigated them yet.
Angela's daughter here re vitrolite tiles. Thanks for replying. We are looking for about 10 green vitrolite tiles that match the ones in our bathroom in order to extend the tiles high enough to put in a shower. We could also do with some of the black edging tiles if you have any of them. How many do you have in your cellar? If you do have some to sell, how many do you have and where are you? It would be good if we could see if they match. We stay in Edinburgh.
We have:-
BLACK strips that are just under 2" wide and about 15" long (5 off).
BLACK strips that are approx 3" wide (1 at 2' and 1 at 3').
BLACK tiles 12" x 18" (4 off and several cut to 12 x 14 ish)
BLUE about 12 off 12" x 18"
Still fixed to the wall we have Green tiles and black trim. Tiles are 12" x 18" but some are cut to meet black edging (see picture) there are about 60 of these with 3 big panels either side of the window and above it.
If anyone knows how or who to get these off the wall without damage then please let me know.
We are in Sheffield....
George
PS. For anyone who wants to suggest we keep them; the bathroom is TINY and there are already areas with no tiles (where water tank has been bodged in) and once we enlarge the bathroom there will not be enough tiles to do much of it...
Are the green tiles still available? I would be interested in them. They should come off fairly easily as they are usually held on by blobs of mastic. I'm in Leeds so I could even fetch them off as part of the sale if needs be.
I've just stumbled accross this wonderful website whilst searching the web for black & green vitrolite tiles.
Does anyone still have any available for sale please?
We are looking for enough to do out a new shower cubicle to match in with the rest of our bathroom which still has original 1940's vitrolite tiles. We are based in West Yorkshire
I have just renewed my bathroom and have some green and black vitrolite tiles to sell. I also have a shelf and toilet roll holder. Unfortunately the black bath panel broke.
