Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the group. I live in North Devon and own a grade 2 listed chapel, the early part dates from 1825, with the later part dating to 1875. It was a Methodist chapel and was solidly built, with solid walls. Although I told it was a rubble build...which doesn't sound great Anyway, I've come to the point where I need to do some work, in this instance it's having a multifuel stove fitted in the main living area (it gets pretty cold!). The listed building consent came through yesterday, yay!!
The dilemma now is how do I find a tradesperson to do the work that has experience and some sympathy for this sort of building? I don't just want any old job done, it's going to be a nice feature and as such needs to be thought out. Any suggestions?
Many thanks
