I'm wanting advice on skirting boards please.
In the process of renovating our snug, it'll be getting lime plastered shortly and once done we would like to put carpet down as the original floor is long gone with concrete in its place but it is very dry and the old carpet we took up had no signs of damp or mould on it. So, what's the best skirting to use, I'm not bothered about solid wood as I'll probably paint it (as there is enough bare wood in the room with the oak beams and door). Also how to fit or fix it in place especially as one wall is very uneven although how it'll be after its 3 coat plaster I'm not sure!
