Hello,
A planning application has been submitted for major works on a rubble stone house in the village close to where I live including the removal of the thatched roof. In looking at the application - primarily because it is currently a very nice period property - I see that it was delisted in 2019 shortly after being purchased on the death of the long-term owner. Less than six months after the delisting we have this planning application for major works. I am lost for words. Why buy a property like this is your priority is to thoroughly change its character? People here seem to be unaware that it has been delisted which means that there was no local consultation about delisting i.e.: it was not raised with the parish council. Is this right? Can a property be delisted without consultation?
