Morning all,
So with all the rain and wind we had a number of windows that were letting rain in, I've sealed outside so hopefully will stop it.
We had an extension in the late 90s using stone on outside and breeze blocks on the inside, the raid had knackered the plasterboard around the window and so I've stripped it back and sealed inside. What I'm wondering know is how to add insulation around window, am I OK to screw wood fibre boards in? We have a metal plate above the window, which I assume is a lintel of sorts. This always seems to have water dripping from it. Can somebody advise what to do with this mess. Obviously it's making the bedroom cold so need sorting ASAP.
Regards
James
