Hello everyone, what would you recommend to clean these tiles with? We cannot decide if we are going to keep them so thought we would clean all 3 fireplaces first (or at least one) before deciding. Thanks in advance

Jif and a plentiful supply of the common green scourers, two bucket method. And lots of elbow grease. It’s just ingrained dirt…

I like a very thick foam of old fashioned carbolic soap left on for a little while and then scrubbed off. For anything sticky and nasty the HG Sticker Remover

Those tiles are just great and absolutely look the part.

Try to avoid expecting that things should look new and antiseptic.
It's a fireplace.... and like many members here it should look lived-in.

My aspirations are much more humble milady - and perhaps the best I could hope for in the circumstances being as I'm more likely to be plastered (but not in a nice way) than slathered.

Bicarbonate of soda and vinegar work a treat
There are also products in the stores which are for cleaning grout and mortar off tiles and they work well for dirt as well
