I had my 1840 stucco house lime washed about seven years ago and it's now scaffolded for window painting and gutter repairs.  The first question is how to repair this:
		
		
	
	
		 
	
It's a poor photo, but it shows a major chip in a stone cill where some decorative ironwork is fixed. It was repaired some time ago, but the repair has now failed. Should I use some lime-based concoction, or something more modern? The overall facade looks like this:
