Ah... I see what you mean. In any event I'm going to be entirely honest on the seller form and declare all changes and whether planning was applied for (or not). This also avoids any future charges of misrepresentation.Not saying it’s most serious, just most obvious to be noticed.
Strangely they weren't full sliding sashes, one half of the window was a sash that couldn't move and the other half was a casement. I've never heard of or seen such a thing so I reckon they had been bodged before we bought the property.Sideways sashes are a shame and certainly bigger deal, if called out in the listing, then may be noticed also, but otherwise they may not have been spotted.
Too late now, but it’s remarkable how far gone old windows appear, but are still entirely repairable.
But, as you say, that is by the by now and the level of detail in the survey will decide whether they are spotted or not.
