Hi all
I’ve tried to find something similar on here but can’t quite manage it so I do apologise if this has been answered somewhere or is obvious to others (this is the first stone built properly and house I’ve owned so am new to this all).
Our wall by the front door seems to be disintegrating at the bottom. The stone mullion is crumbling and then the stone next to that is quite bobbled and dark coloured.
Does anyone have an idea as to what this is and what I should do about it? There’s nothing dripping above it like a gutter and nothing damp on the internal side. It is at the front of the house which faces north.
Thank you in advance. Have attached pictures!
