Ruskington is quite close to Cranwell, chosen as the RAF's main pilot training base by Trenchard in the early 1920s precisely because it was so far from any distractions for young wannabe pilots!

Where else can I ride a Pashley bicycle, complete with skirt guard, across a Heath for my Rigby & Peller upholstery, my Lindy classes, my organic chia seed lattes?
Feltwell said:I have the same dilemma myself every week Joce :?
(OK, I had to Google to find out what a Lindy class is. Can't be too posh, they have them in Wolverhampton apparently  And I thought Rigby & Peller was more uplifting than upholstery, posh bras for presumably posh bosoms?)
JoceAndChris said:Yes, the Queen herself buys Rigby & Peller. When one is well-built superior engineering is called for.
