Need to get up a ladder and sand and oil our oak windows before Winter ( I know it's a bit late ). Think we need to buy a new tool, but not sure what to get. Any recommendations please ?

A pal of mine has a Fein Multimaster, and I agree that's it's a first-class and highly versatile tool. I have a cheaper Wolf version of the same thing and it's excellent too, although doesn't have the quality 'feel' of the Fein.Flyfisher said:I'd suggest a Fein Multimaster (which I can personally vouch for) or one of the cheaper copies from the likes of Bosch (which I can't personally vouch for).
Please excuse my presumption in editing your text, Toby, but I couldn't possibly let you get away with that glaring omission.Toby Newell said:you can normally achieve better results by bacon sandwich AND KIT-KAT! power as opposed to the national grid.
Well, treasure that memory. I've never been right... just ask Mrs P.Toby Newell said:I used to be right all the time...
No it's not - you are very early for this year!88v8 said:As you say, a bit late for oiling unless you have a run of dry days.
Which reminds me I need to creosote our sheds. Bit late for that too.
