Hello!
After having just finished reading through 240 odd pages of forum topics I now feel ready to post my own! Great advice so far and some lovely photos (those that still work).
Anyhow ! I have two chimneys on my property, built around 1890, one in use and one not.
Both need restoration work which I’m in the process of arranging now.
He chimney that isn’t in use I feel should be capped. It seems a sensible idea to keep water out whilst still allowing an air flow. However... how to cap it and still maintain the look of the property? I suspect there isn’t a good way so I open it to the floor
Hopefully the photos have attached !
Thanks.
