Morning all
I've got all the floorboards up and am replacing joists with rot and woodworm
The joists rest on several sleeper walls that run the whole length of the room, with a wall plate on top. I want to insulate under the boards. The problem is that would essentially cut off airflow to most of the room
Would it be possible to remove a few bricks along the sleeper wall to encourage airflow? If not I'm thinking of just not insulating on the bits above the sleeperwall to let air pass over.
Dont really want to go to the extent of knocking the sleeper walls down and rebuilding honeycomb sleeper walls
See pic, the air brick in this room is in the top left, in between the two sleeper walls in the corner
Thanks in advance for any advice
