Hi everyone,
I’ve bought an early 1900s Edwardian terrace and lifted up the kitchen vinyl + laminate to find this in the corner of the kitchen.
The property has a basement situated underneath with an external exit which sits under this wall.
I’ve checked the window seal on this wall and guttering and can’t find any leaks. I’m currently putting it down to the previous owner having kept a washing machine here for 7 years.
Could anyone advise on if this is closer to dry rot or wet rot?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
